AI Exposure / Tracker

How many AI systems are sitting on the open internet with zero authentication? We scan daily and keep count. Every model host, every automation server, every unguarded notebook.

Methodology & About

How We Scan

All data is collected via Shodan.io's passive internet scan — we query their indexed data, not the systems directly. No active probing, no touching target servers. Aggregate counts only; no raw IP addresses or device-specific data are published here.

  • Ollama: port:11434 product:"Ollama"
  • Jupyter: port:8888 product:"Jupyter"
  • Open WebUI: "Open WebUI"
  • n8n: port:5678 "n8n"

Flagged data points (⚑) indicate anomalous values under investigation — possible Shodan re-index events or query artifacts. Treat them as directionally correct, not precise.

Why This Matters

The AI agent market is growing at speed. Most developers spin up model servers with zero-auth by design — it's the dev experience. The problem is these instances routinely reach production without hardening.

We track this because someone should. Every number here is a real system, accessible to anyone with a browser and a port scanner.
